Maxitrol GV gas valves are combination control systems featuring several integrated and optional components. Keefer Gas hoses are a range of stainless steel braided gas hoses and S-core gas hoses primarily used for Natural Gas & LPG applications, known for their industrial durability, flexibility and safety in gas transfer applications. The stainless steel S-core design and stainless steel braiding construction offers industrial durability, excellent resistance to wear under vibration (ideal for off-road or mobile applications) and sufficient flexibility for easy installation. Keeflex Gas hoses are primarily used for gas connections, including pigtail hoses for LPG cylinders and connecting gas appliances. They are available with various fittings, including POL handwheel connections, 1/4" NPT male inverted flare, 7/16" UNS and the newer LCC27 "Safe Lok" fittings, which are gradually replacing POL fittings in Victoria. The Maxitrol GS Series Excess Flow Valves (EFV)  are available from KEEFER Bros who are the Official Oceania Distributor of Maxitrol Product. GS Series EFV’s can be used at the gas meter outlet and or branch line for use within existing homes or new builds using multilayer piping. The Maxitrol Excess Flow valve is a critical safety device that automatically shuts off the natural gas supply during a major leak or pipe rupture, like from accidental excavation, by sensing a dangerous surge in flow, preventing fire, explosion, and injury, and it's designed to allow normal gas flow while protecting the property and occupants.   These valves are installed on gas lines, often integrated with the meter or regulator, and trigger closure when flow exceeds a set limit, resetting once the fault is fixed. Compliance: Mandatory requirement for as installation standards (like AS/NZS 5601.1) in Australia and New Zealand for new and some existing gas services.
